Matt Marino


Principal/General Superintendent

Matthew Marino began his career working in the trenches as a trade subcontractor, before advancing to Principal/General Trades Superintendent at Oelrich Construction. With 17 years of leadership in the building construction industry, Matthew has a comprehensive understanding of every aspect of jobsite and logistics management. His technical background forms the backbone of his approach to interpreting complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems; building components; high quality finishes; organization behavior; and strategic management. His understanding of economics, finance, law, and human resources informs his ability to provide strong leadership on any project, no matter how small or large.

As Oelrich Construction’s General Superintendent, Matthew supervises the firm’s daily field operations, superintendents, field interns, and assistants. If a field concern arises at 2 a.m., you can be assured that Matthew will be on-call to safely address the situation. As Senior Field Superintendent, Matthew personally manages major projects from construction to closeout. As Oelrich Construction’s Safety Director, he protects the wellbeing of stakeholders, personnel and subcontractors.

Matthew achieved his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida. He holds certifications in advanced traffic control, stormwater inspection, hazardous waste management, and safety.
