Matthew Weaver

Military veteran Matthew V. Weaver has more than 6 years of engineering and building construction experience. He oversaw key projects like the Bayazo Bridge construction in Afghanistan and bridge corrosion studies in Pittsburgh and Chicago before joining the team at Oelrich Construction as a Project Manager.

Matt’s U.S. Army Corps of Engineers experience informs his efficient approach to cost control, scheduling, and operations management. As Project Manager, Matt is responsible for developing conceptual cost estimates, developing GMPs, providing constructability reviews, finalizing contractual arrangements, reviewing shop drawings, and change orders, processing RFI’s, monthly O/A/E meeting minutes and weekly subcontractor coordination meeting minutes.

Matthew achieved his B.S. in Criminal Justice from Florida State University and his M.S. in Engineering with a concentration in Construction Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
