Rustam Burangulov

BIM Coordinator/Cost Estimator

Rustam has more than 9 years of experience in the building construction industry. Rustam began his career working with a local subcontractor on residential projects. He joined the Oelrich Construction team as a project engineer, before transitioning to bid administration for diverse projects and clients. As Oelrich Construction’s Building Information Model (BIM) Coordinator, Rustam works with architecture/engineering teams to build detailed models of complex capital projects, create conceptual budgets, and control costs during design/construction. Upon project completion, he delivers as-built BIM models to clients for use in long-term facility operations/maintenance.

Rustam maintains the BIM models and works with Revit Quantity Takeoff to produce real time cost modeling in our preconstruction services. His mastery of these technologies allows clients to make informed decisions about specific building systems. As Estimator, Rustam works on Oelrich Construction’s Preconstruction Services team building budget estimates, managing bidding contract documents, and pricing value engineering concepts. He also supports small/veteran/minority/women-owned vendor development through Oelrich Construction’s Diversity Committee.

Rustam achieved his B.S. in Building Construction from the University of Florida, where he also served as the captain of the UF BIM Team. Rustam is proficient in the entire Auto Desk Suite with specific skills in Revit, Navisworks, and Vico. He is fluent in English and Russian.
