University of Florida College of Pharmacy Basic Sciences 3rd Floor Renovation

This renovation project for the University of Florida College of Pharmacy transformed the third floor of the Basic Sciences Building into a state-of-the-art research environment. The work included full interior demolition and reconstruction of wet and dry laboratories, faculty offices, and collaborative work areas to support advanced pharmaceutical research.

The scope incorporated lab-grade finishes, custom casework, fume hoods, and specialized MEP systems designed for chemical and biological research applications. The project also integrated new IT infrastructure and building controls with the university’s campus-wide systems. Construction was carefully phased to minimize disruption within the occupied facility and maintain safe, continuous operations.

Our team collaborated closely with project stakeholders to reimagine the space — incorporating advanced lab infrastructure, upgraded technology, and modern finishes — all designed to support cutting-edge research and provide students and faculty with an environment where innovation can thrive. We’re proud to play a part in creating spaces that empower discovery and advance education for years to come.
