Downtown Bo Diddley Plaza
Oelrich Construction led extensive improvements to Bo Diddley Plaza by building a new café space, airport style restrooms, a water wall with 250 LED light combinations, a welcoming informational kiosk, and a green room for enhanced performances.
The Impact
The facility improvements have increased the City’s ability to attract more frequent, diverse event programming, which has had economic benefits for Downtown businesses. Additional community programming such as Zumba fitness, tango dance lessons, yoga, concerts and festivals have further activated this iconic urban space.
