Heart and Vascular Imaging Center Renovation

This fast-paced renovation transformed the Heart & Vascular Imaging Center into a state-of-the-art diagnostic facility in under three months. The project scope included complete concrete demolition and underground rough-in for a new PET/CT scanner, along with construction of a control room and equipment room. A new electrical panel was installed and tied into the existing transformer, while exterior wall modifications allowed for the delivery and installation of the PET/CT machine. Additional work included landscaping improvements and the installation of a dedicated chiller system to support the new imaging equipment.

All construction was completed under strict infection control protocols, including ICRA dust barriers, negative air machines maintaining .02 pressure, and daily filter replacement to ensure a contaminant-free environment. Demolition and other loud activities were performed before patient hours to minimize disruption, and the project team coordinated closely with Siemens and city officials to meet all technical requirements and inspection schedules. Despite the accelerated timeline and complexity of the work, the renovation was completed on schedule, allowing the facility to immediately begin serving patients in a safe and modernized environment.
