UF Reitz Union E-Sports

The UF Reitz Union E-Sports Project transforms a 2,555-square-foot space within the University of Florida’s Reitz Union into a cutting-edge gaming and e-sports hub. Designed to serve the university’s rapidly growing gaming community, the facility features state-of-the-art PC and console gaming stations, professional-grade streaming equipment, and an immersive viewing area for competitions.

Oelrich Construction worked closely with UF stakeholders to ensure the space reflects the vibrant, high-energy atmosphere of the e-sports world while maintaining the durability and flexibility needed for daily student use. The project included advanced electrical and data infrastructure, custom lighting, and acoustic enhancements to optimize both gameplay and spectator experience.

The UF Reitz Union E-Sports facility will be a central destination for recreational gamers, competitive teams, and live tournament events—fostering community, collaboration, and school spirit in a modern, technology-driven environment.
